Raven West Films

Raven West Films Ltd. is an independent motion picture production company that focuses on the development and production of quality director-driven films. Through a festival platform and strong critical response, each of our projects has enjoyed wide international sales and continuous critical success in both foreign and domestic markets.

Feature films include REPEATERS, currently in post-production; FATHERS & SONS, also in post-production; COLE, which opened to a opened to strong critical response at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival, and was awarded Best Canadian Feature at the 2009 Atlantic Film Festival; MOTHERS & DAUGHTERS, which took home the Audience Prize at the 2008 Vancouver International Film Festival; NORMAL, starring Carrie-Anne Moss which earned the award for Best Western Canadian Feature Film and the 2007 Vancouver International Film Festival and Genie Award for Best Supporting Actor (Callum Keith Rennie); UNNATURAL & ACCIDENTAL, the winner of a Special Jury Prize at the 2006 Vancouver International Film Festival; the cult horror and festival favorite SEVERED which was awarded a prize at the LA Screamfest; EMILE starring two-time Academy award nominated Sir Ian McKellen (Lord of the Rings, Gods and Monsters); LOLA (2002 Berlin, Sundance, and Toronto Festivals); and Raven West's first feature JOHNNY (Jury Prize 1999 Toronto International Film Festival, Golden Alexander Nomination 1999 Thessaloniki).
