SEVERED is a psychological thriller about a strange infection that manifests itself on a remote island lumber camp, turning the lumber workers into flesh eating zombies. Tyler, the son of lumber company CEO, is dispatched to the region to find out why the company has lost communications with their mill. He is a reluctant participant in the workings of his father’s company. His allegiance rests with the protestors who habitually camp near the mill in defense of the old growth forest the company is cutting down.

When Tyler arrives on the scene, he is confronted by a life or death situation: there are only a handful of survivors, and the infection has spread rampantly across the island. The zombies are stalking the few uninfected people left, and Tyler has to mediate between the remaining lumber workers and protestors. They must shelve their differences and work together to insure their survival.
